Unlike a few years back, when there were only one or two big cruise ship serving Australia, next year will see over a dozen ships either based here in Australia or making visits as part of world tours.
The cruise lines have undergone much consolidation in recent years and many now operate independently under umbrella brands, much as Qantas has Jetstar, Jet connect, Airlink etc.
